They succeeded once.
Pandora—their only viable creation—escaped a decade ago, tearing free alongside a handful of fellow captives. Since then, vengeance has been her driving force.
Now Raven has brought Elijah and his Elite Warriors—lethal demons of the Underworld—to Sanctuary, her people’s hidden refuge. She promises Elijah answers about The Facility, the abducted, and the fate of his own people taken twenty-five years ago. But the residents avoid him. Conversations stop when he enters a room. Doors close. Whispers follow. And Elijah is determined to uncover what they’re hiding.
Together, Raven, Caleb, Elijah, and the Elite Warriors begin crafting a plan to destroy the mastermind behind The Facility—the elusive Maître. Yet even as they prepare for war, Raven continues to withhold critical truths. With each omission, Elijah’s mistrust deepens.
Roman is experiencing a sense of déjà vu with regards to Raven, leaving him feeling uneasy.
The walls Raven’s built around her heart only strengthen his resolve to break through them. But Raven fears the cost. When Roman learns everything—about Pandora, about the past, about what she’s done—she fears he may walk away.
Complicating everything is Salem, Raven’s fiercely loyal daughter, whose growing bond with Roman entwines their fates even tighter.
Then Salem lets something slip.
One secret. One truth exposed.
Elijah reacts with fury, launching an attack on Raven that explodes into a violent clash. It takes both Roman and Caleb to restrain her before she kills him. In the aftermath, Elijah refuses to continue the alliance unless he comes face-to-face with Pandora herself.
Now the mission hangs by a thread.
If Raven and Elijah cannot find trust—cannot bridge the widening fracture between them—their plan to destroy The Maître will collapse. And with it, the only chance to free their people.
And all the years Raven has spent fighting to protect her kind will have been for nothing.
